The Finished Product

It has been almost seven months since I began working on "Gallery of Hope", an outline idea document that decorated my home screen for some years, working on other books. Yes that smacks of putting it off. And that smacks of some sort of resistance, and that, is something I've been working on. Yeah, that..."why is that?" thought that nags.

I believe the story is a good one, such that the reader will find engaging sufficiently to continue reading. For any black and white photography enthusiasts the story should entertain, being it's a black and white photography thing going on. And folks from Ewebark, Oregun, well, they know who they are and where that is. Most readers will certainly know, eventually.

I have decided to remain an independent author, have signed on to an online publisher, and not for the first time. There are pro's and con's to that, and I am one that likes having control over my books. This one being the most refined yet. This book, being the fourteenth I've written, is the first fictional work, and I dare say I enjoyed it a lot more than I had originally imagined, and there will be more.

Credit is to be given to a long time friend having come up with the idea for the cover, being I was clueless about that on this book. I have designed all my covers, until now. William Britton, aka Brit, has been a friend since he hung in my gallery of black and white photographers, being one of the photographers, and a good one. That was in 1984. His idea to use cameras in a studio setting, matching the old gallery, and three scene setups in the book worked into my monologue on replicating such a scene. His mind works like that, having spent thirty years as a graphic artist. Now having two treatments of his idea in front of me means time will be needed to contemplate the matter until I get tired of it and select one and be done with it. It's traditional.

Stay tuned for the cover image reveal.
