The Evolution of a Story
Writing stream of conscious has its advantages and disadvantages. This form of writing is for poetry and fiction. Writing non-fiction is all about laying out factual informative in a cogent way, Fiction is all about entertaining, and that allows for all sorts of personal touches. In my humble opinion, writing stream of conscious allows a free flow of creative thought when it can be employed. For me, it is essential in writing fictional satire. The book I am currently writing has been testament to that, with the flow of action laid out not that far off a stand up routine. The story of Wendell Wankerman is now nearing its end, with the story's primary character now being woven together for a fitting ending, and keeping the cherished need for hope alive, and maybe even helpful.
